The BSc in Hotel Management program provides the students with an academic qualification that is attractive to potential employers, the skills and ability to enter the working world, and a 'tool box' that can be applied to a range of careers in the hospitality industry. Graduates may become accomplished managers, capable of working across a range of public and private enterprises including leisure facilities, hotels, theme parks, conferences, exhibitions and event management. The program uses a range of teaching methods to facilitate learning. Core knowledge is covered by lectures and tutorials, supported by guided reading and additional materials. Particular care is taken to use the most effective teaching and assessment methods for each module. The BSc in Hotel Management aims to provide solid level of understanding and conceptual skills in operations, finance, human resources, research & Development, marketing and administrative management as related to current national and international environment of hospitality services. It is comprised of three study terms of 20 weeks each plus three periods of 3-6 months industry training in Hospitality Industry.

Eligibility for the candidates:

• 12th passed students with or more than 50% marks can directly apply for admission - General Candidates
• 12th passed students with or more than 45% marks can directly apply for admission - OBC/SC/ST/Defense and Girls
• Students with less than 50% marks for General Quota & 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST/ Defense and for Girl Candidates seeking admission in B.S.C. Hotel Management and eligible for the same, must clear All India Test followed by an interview conducted at different Examination Halls. Aspirants will be considered for enrollment on the basis of their rank in the written test & interview on the availability of the seats. Aspirants appearing in 12th Class can also apply..

Duration: : 3 Years : 6 Semester : 15 months (full time) at the Institute followed by Industrial Training, Vocational Training and on-job training in a hotel or allied sector for three - six months

When to apply: : Admission notification is issued in the month of May/June every year in leading national newspapers. The prospectus contains an application form for any one of the courses offered. It can be obtained from the Institute's Enquiry Counter on the payment of a fee/charge in cash, or by post, on the payment through a demand draft drawn in favor of the "AIHM" payable at Noida.

How to Apply:(Attach following documents with properly filled application form)

• Attested document for proof of age.
• Attested photocopy of all educational certificates/mark sheets.
• Fitness certificate issued by the registered MBBS doctor.
• Paste one passport size photograph on the application form.
• Character certificate issued by the certified school/college
• Attested documents for Reserved Category Certificate from appropriate authority, if applicable
• A certificate of bonafide domicile of native place, if applicable, + check position in line in both short courses During the interview the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their communication skills with particular reference to the English language, general awareness, personal grooming, the overall personality and the candidate's suitability for the hospitality industry.

Admission:Selection is based on the combined merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination, a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee at the Institute on the date stipulated in the prospectus of the course.Admission fee Rs. 26850/- and semester fee will be in installments

Selection :: The selection list will be displayed on Notice Board of the Institute on the same or next day of the interview. NO SEPARATE INTIMATION WILL BE SENT TO THE CANDIDATES. Selected candidates are required to pay the first term fees as shown in the Fee Structure on the day the result is declared. Failing immediate payment of fees, the offer of admission will be withdrawn and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list. The candidate whose admission has thus been cancelled will have no claim whatsoever to admission at a later time.




Hostel fee:Hostel fee per month Rs. 5000/- (Semester Fee : Rs. 30000/-) 6 month hostel fee should be deposited in advance i.e. Rs 30000/-(1 Year Hostel Accommodation is compulsory), fine Rs.50/- per day will be applicable after the due date.

• Examination fee is not included in above fee
• Fee is payable through cash or by DD drawn in favor of "AIHM " payable at Noida
• Fee includes enrollment fee, tuition fee, internal exams fee, ID Card fee, student activities, F&B Practical, Food Production Practical, Computer, Games & Sports, Development and industrial exposure.
• Receipt of the fee paid must be obtained from the accounts window by payee.
• Fee must be deposited within the given time.
