M.B.A in Hotel Management

Eligibility for the candidates :

• Graduate with 50% scored can apply for Direct admission for General Candidates
• Graduate with 45% scored can apply for Direct admission for OBC/SC/ST/Defense and Girls
• Below 50% for general & 45% for OBC/SC/ST/ Defense and for Girls have to clear the entrance exams to get enrolled in the above course. Candidates interested in admission in MBA in HM and eligible for the same, must appear in all India written test followed by an interview on the same, organized at different centers. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their rank in the written test & interview on the availability of the seats. Candidates appearing in final year of graduation can also apply.

Duration :2 Years : 4 Semester :12 months (full time) at the Institute followed by Training, in a hotel or allied sector for three - six months

When to apply: Admission notification is issued in the month of December/January and May/June every year in leading national newspapers. The prospectus contains an application form for any one of the courses offered. It can be obtained from the Institute's Enquiry Counter on the payment of a fee/charge in cash, or by post, on the payment through a demand draft drawn in favor of the "AIHM" payable at Noida.

How to Apply - Duly filled-in application form must be accompanied with

• Attested photocopy of proof of age.
• Attested photocopy of proof of educational qualification/ mark sheets.
• Fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor on the attached form.
• One passport size photograph pasted in the space provided on the application form.
• Character certificate from the head of the institution (school/college) last attended.
• Attested photocopy of Reserved Category Certificate from appropriate authority, if applicable.
• A certificate of bonafide domicile of native place, if applicable, + check position in line in both short courses During the interview the candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their communication skills with particular reference to the English language, general awareness, personal grooming, the overall personality and the candidate's suitability for the hospitality industry.

Admission: Selection is based on the combined merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination, a personal interview conducted by the Selection Committee at the Institute on the date decided by the Selection Committee. Admission fee Rs. 26850/- and semester fee will be in installments.

Selection : The selection list will be displayed on Notice Board of the Institute on the same or next day of the interview. NO SEPARATE INTIMATION WILL BE SENT TO THE CANDIDATES. Selected candidates are required to pay the first term fees as shown in the Fee Structure on the day the result is declared. Failing immediate payment of fees, the offer of admission will be withdrawn and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list. The candidate whose admission has thus been cancelled will have no claim whatsoever to admission at a later time.

Hostel fee: Hostel fee per month Rs. 5000/- (Semester Fee : Rs. 30000/-) 6 month hostel fee should be deposited in advance i.e. Rs 30000/-(1 Year Hostel Accommodation is compulsory), fine Rs.50/- per day will be applicable after the due date.

• Examination fee does not include in above fee
• The fee should be paid either by cash or demand draft drawn in favour of "A-IHM " payable at Noida
• The fee include enrollment fee, tuition fee, internal exams fee, I D Card fee, student activities, F&B Practical, Food Production Practical, Computer, games & Sports, Development and industrial exposure.
• Receipt of all fee paid must be obtained from the office by payee
• Fee should be strictly deposited with in the time specified i.e. in the month of 1st working day of each installment.
• This document cannot be used for judicial purpose.
• The Institute is not responsible for Postal Delays.
• Examination fee is payable on Semester basis in advance.
